Monaco's Trattoria

For an absolutely incredible experience, try Monaco's Trattoria in downtown Loveland at 218 East 4th Street.

Loveland's traditional Italian eatery, Monaco Trattoria, features a menu of seasonally-driven cuisine, that also uses authentic ingredients like San Marzanno tomatoes, which are grown only in the Campania region of Italy and used in all of the restaurant's sauces.

Plenty of other Italian imports find their way into Monaco Trattoria's multi-course and a la carte menus, which are helmed by Chef Giuseppe Monaco, who was born and raised on L' Isola Di Capri, off the pristine coast of Naples. With an affinity for the Old World, Chef Monaco crafts dishes such as Branzino a Mediterranean white fish baked whole and prepared table side, Linguine e Vongole, braised wild boar, four-cheese risotto, golden fried calamari, spaghetti Bolognese, and fish soup bouillabaisse, which are all perfectly enjoyable with something from the restaurant's wine list.

At lunch, guests get the opportunity to enjoy brick-oven baked pizzas, panini, salads, and other chef specialties. Wine tastings that provide ideal opportunities to enjoy regional wine and food pairings, and other special events are popular occasions to visit. The setting is beautifully appointed, with cloth-lined tables, brick walls, and welcoming decor that all have the intention of letting the guest feel the restaurant has been plucked from the hills of Italy.
